Colombia is officially known as the Republic of Colombia and popular as a transcontinental country situated in the northwest of South America with some of its territories in North America too. The official language of Colombia is Spanish with the capital city as Bogota which is also the largest city in the country. The highest mountain in the country is Pico Cristóbal Colón with an hieght of 5,700 meters (18,700 feet).
